I’ve always been interested in photography.  My approach to decorating my home has veered strongly toward using framed enlargements of pictures I’ve made.  They remind me of my travels and experience.  A few years ago I finally found the time to begin to learn more about the remarkably complex and organic processes of making photographic images . There is an endless array of equipment, much of it expensive.  Then there is an endless stream of post-processing software that has truly infinite potential.  While recognizing that mastery of all of the elements of photography is a life’s work, I have found great pleasure, and some surprisingly enjoyable results, in my laborious efforts to make pictures.
